I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Mississippi State University. I study how flames, flows, and complex dynamical systems organize, transition, and become unstable.

Research Interests

How coherent behavior emerges in fluid and flame systems

Combustion instability

Thermoacoustic transitions, flame dynamics, synchronization, and instability mechanisms in reacting flows.

Complex systems

Nonlinear dynamics, bifurcations, coherent structures, and reduced descriptions of high-dimensional flows.

Flow imaging

Advanced diagnostics including digital holography, 3D particle tracking velocimetry, and data-rich experiments.
